Third Base Coach Don Menard returns to the Barnstormers

Assistant Coach and Third Base Coach Don Menard returns to the Barnstormers coaching staff for the 2026 season.

A Windsor resident and one of the most respected baseball minds in the Intercounty ranks, Menard brings more than 40 years of coaching experience back to the Barnstormers dugout. Most recently serving as manager of the Kitchener Panthers, Menard possesses an unmatched understanding of the league - its players, its tendencies and what it takes to win within it.

Few know the ins and outs of the IBL (now CBL) like Menard. His experience, preparation and steady leadership continue to be invaluable assets to a developing roster.

Equally important is his ability to teach. With four decades of experience shaping players at every stage of their careers, Menard remains committed to developing the next generation, ensuring our younger talent understands not only how to play the game, but how to think it.
