Right-handed reliever Shane “Goose” Gustafson joins the CKB

The Goose has landed. The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers are excited to announce the signing of right-handed reliever Shane “Goose” Gustafson.
The 6’5” right-hander from Rocklin, California brings an impressive blend of collegiate and professional experience to the Barnstormers after spending time in the Cincinnati Reds organization.
Before turning pro, Gustafson starred at the University of Nevada, where he earned First-Team All-Mountain West honours in 2021 after leading the conference with a stellar 2.89 ERA.
Over his collegiate and professional career, the 27-year-old has recorded 392 strikeouts and 32 wins across 455 innings, adding another proven arm to the Barnstormers bullpen.
