Chatham-Kent city council has approved ballpark improvement

Chatham-Kent city council has approved last night, a new fence around the perimeter of Fergie Jenkins Field. This will allow our ballpark to avoid vandalism and will help the game-day operations.

Also, the Chatham-Kent community has demonstrated last season that the Barnstormers are a part of the community with our 947 average fans at the games, they approved an additional 500+ seats that will be installed on the first base side. The current bullpen will be relocated behind the right field fence, close to the new team's clubhouse...The Barnstormers' dugout will now be on the first base side.
