Congratulations to Mizuki Akatsuka on being named IBL's Pitcher of the Week!

On Saturday night at Fergie Jenkins Field, Mizuki delivered a dominant performance against the Brantford Red Sox — throwing 7 strong innings, striking out 7, and allowing just 1 earned run, 1 walk, and 7 hits. Only 3 runners reached second base all night.

Akatsuka tossed 91 pitches — 60 for strikes — keeping the Barnstormers locked in a tight game that ended in dramatic fashion with a Spencer Marcus walk-off RBI in the 10th inning for a 2-1 win!
