ABOUT THE AWARD

Harry Muir is a baseball lifer, former Toronto Blue Jays minor leaguer, and the first Barnstormers GM. He spent four years in the Blue Jays' minor league system during their early '90s title-run era.

Muir also made Canadian baseball history as the first Canadian to throw a no-hitter in international play. After winning gold with Team Ontario at the 1990 Canadian Nationals in Trois-Rivières, he was selected to join Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in Cuba. In his first start, he delivered that historic no-hitter.

The award honours Harry's remarkable contributions to the game and recognizes the outstanding pitching performances that carry on that legacy.

Congratulations, Mitsuki! A well-earned honour!
